Absolutely pathetic. What a joke. Montour is a STUD and is UNTOUCHABLE. Please this is embarrassing. Insanely ridiculous. Sad. Anaheim would NEVER EVER do this. Not a knock on Kane but Montour is AMAZING. Don’t care for the other pieces. Montour is NOT moving without a RIDICULOUS overpayment, and I mean RIDICOLOUS.

First off, Bieksa isn't waiving his NTC to go to Buffalo. Montour is untouchable to Buffalo because Buffalo does not have anyone like a Marner or William Nylander to offer. I know they have his brother but I don't know Alex's talent or potential is the same as his brothers.

If you're asking for Montour, be willing to give up Sam Reinhart+. Even then, I'd probably turn it down. Montour is only going one way and that's up, whilst Reinhart is struggling to find his way in the NHL. Kane is worth like a 1st + weak prospect at the draft. Not a young, cost-controlled, contributing asset like Montour.

I think Montour has top pairing potential. He needs to work on his defensive game, but the rest of his game is on point. Could end up being like Fowler, but with a better shot and more confidence.
