i agree-- if kreider WAS to be traded it would be for an offer that is completely over the top and we would be cheering in the streets at the haul

Word is hayes wont be moved if they can sign him to a good contract but if he is moved it will be going to a team that will attempt to sign him so nyr would get some conditional picks as well. He has really good underlying numbers and with 27/33 he could potentially be a 1st line center by next year. The return i can see nyr getting is a either a top prospect or a good young player and 2nd and a 3rd in the following year but condition if he signs back it turns into a 2nd. People undervalue krieder all the time on this site and it drives me nuts. The return we would get for him would be near mcdonaghs value not the same amount a little less but around it.
