Not perfect, trades were pretty fair imo, even though it would suck to lose cirelli.

Johnsson and Kapanen > Cirelli. Don't see the sign and trade happening either.

I would prefer to keep Cirelli and use the extra cap space from not having to pay Kapanen and Johnsson to keep Stralman. I'm also not sure what Vegas would give for that package, but it would be nice if we could get a decent replacement for those forwards. Obviously Killorn is widely seen as a cap dump (I actually think he's worth his cap hit because of the way he can step up in the playoffs and what he manages to bring to every game aside from scoring, but that isn't an overly popular position here), and people tend to assume packaging him reduces a return. Furthermore, we'd need a forward on a low cap hit, so that obviously limits our options, but I would at least hope there's a decent third-line forward available for someone like J.T. Miller, who has a lot more talent than almost any third-liner. Then we can replace the forward void and not create defensive issues while remaining within the cap.

I'm with you with Cirelli. I would wager right now that he is going to have the best post season out of those 3 Tampa forwards. Miller can move up and down the lineup, can play C or W and can kill penalties. Killorn's problem isn't that he's not good, he's just gonna be the victim of Tampa's amazing prospect pool. Since Stamkos has delvoped his game beyond the one timer Killorn has struggled to develop any kind of chemistry with him. Killorn and Kucherov do not like each other and can't play together (even strength) and Killer lacks the speed to be any good with Point. So that means he has to be a bottom 6 guy. He doesn't have the upside of Cirelli/Joseph he is kinda on par with what Erne brings to the table (younger cheaper) and the Callahan Paqman line has been so good this year I wouldn't want to change it. Not to mention Raddy Volkov and the rest of the young guys coming through. Killorn needs to be moved now while he still have top 6/playoff value

He definitely has to be moved to make the cap work and give prospects a roster spot, I agree. I was just saying that most people here assume packaging Killorn will actually diminish returns, and I don't know if that's true or not, since I really don't think the Killorn contract is as bad as some people on this website seem to.

No way Cirelli goes anywhere; will be 3rd most valuable forward on team in 2 years; he perfect penalty killer and 3rd line shut down role. On Killorn you are correct in he is value for a younger playoff team. Problem is us Bolts fans have 12 other guys that are just flat better. Package him with Erne for best you can get.
