Not a bad idea, few things I'd change;
1) The offence is too heavily loaded in the top 6, this teams depth would get crushed come playoff time. Might be a bit smarter to take the $8M you gave Stone and invest it in another top 4 dman and maybe cheaper forward options. I think Thompson can develop into a Stone type player so use the cheap option to fill that space and keep the open cap space for other needs.
2) I wouldn't give a backup goalie $3M a season, even though Ullmark has been good this season. Just makes him or Hutton harder to move or unhappy when one clearly becomes the starter.
3) Definitely would try to move the Scandella contract, thats a terrible deal.
4) I think you'll have to do better than that to get the Berglund contract off the roster, Girgensons has been a bust and I don't think him alone is enough to take Berglund for just a 3rd.
5) Wouldn't throw Nylander into a top 6 role that fast, he hasn't even proven to be near that in the AHL for long enough (he's been good this year, thats it)
6) Sobotka is a good depth option. Keep him as a veteran on the third line to round out the lineup.
Maybe something like this?:
Skinner-Eichel-Reinhart
Sheary-Middlestadt-Okposo
Sobotka-Thompson-Nylander
4th line could be anything really and so could depth
Dahlin-Ristolainen
(get a top 4 for this spot)-Bogosian
McCabe-Nelson
Pilut would be the 7th
Same goalies is fine just watch the amount you would spend on them
