Things Id do leading up to the trade deadline

Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

1. I think I'd move Hyman back with Matthews and Nylander. That was a dominate line last year and Hyman might help to stablise that line while Nylander shakes off some rust.
2. I'd move Marleau up with JT and Marner. Babs likes to have a forward pair matched with a digger. But JT and Marner are both relentless on their own and Matleau showed some chemistry last year with Marner.
3. The Kadri , Kappy, Johnsson line looked like the one line that was working last night. I'd leave them as is.
4. I'd like to see Babs conitune to ease Dermott onto Mo's right side on the top pairing until he sticks there for the playoffs.
5. I'd like to see Holl and Oz rotate games with Hainsey on his strong on the bottom pairing. If neither really stand out I'd like to see a small trade for a rental RHD to play with Hainsey and keep Oz and Holl for depth.
6. I'm not sure if Sparks is inspiring confidence in his team. Id make a trade for a reliable back up.
7. That 4th line didnt look great last night. With Kappy's emergence as a legit third line RW, I'd trade Brown for a RW who can play a heavy forecheck, cycle/board game and some pp2. Id put the Goat back in, keep Ennis, and sit Lindholm. Id then only play the 4th line 5-7 mins a night, and run the top 3 lines out the door without much concern for matchups and whichever line is going on any given night would get more minutes.
