Description

The Blackhawks have the potential to be a playoff hopeful but a top 5-10 pick is more likely for this team.

The help on defense is coming up from with Mitchell and Boqvist next year, and possibly Beaudin the year after. I believe they they should either draft a forward this year (Kakko, Cozens, Turcotte, Dach) or sign a guy in free agency to help out the forward group a little more.

THIS TEAM IS NOT GETTING PANARiN. Hes too expensive for us and will make resigning rfas difficult especially in a few years. We will need cap space for Boqvist, Jokiharju, Debrincat and so on.

Also you might see Anisimov get moved but I doubt there are any takers, maybe at the deadline but I would prefer no salary retention.

Very much like your logic behind this however, I do think that the hawks are either going to try and trade down if they have a high pick or try an obtain another first rounder so they can pick up future number 1 goalie Spencer Knight who is projected to be out of the top 10. I think that they trade Saad and a mid tier prospect for another first
