Description

I fully believe Nylander will sign with the leafs but why not make some trade speculation that is unlikely but decently fair.

St. Louis is having a disaster of a season and if the coaching change does't change things what will?

Parayko is a definite main stay on the blues, but it's a big name Toronto would obviously be interested in. Not very likely but at least the return is a top 6 winger and a fairly good defensive prospect. (the swapping of picks in the second round most likely drops St. Louis down a fair but still gives them a 2nd rounder).

Note*: The trade may require a bit more balancing for the blues to pull the trigger.

The swapping of picks is kind a waste. I understand the thought would be Blues would be more valuable. But I would do Borgman and Nylander for just Parayko. That being said, I think they would need someone that would make an immediate impact. I think Gardiner would be the safer contract with higher value to move. Then Borgman, Sandin or Rosen could step into the bottom pairing.
