Bob tweeted out today:

"There seems to be earnest desire on both sides to reach an agreement. My best guess would be a term of 8 years and AAV somewhere north of $8M but south of $9M."

He also followed out with a tweet saying that Stone wants to stay as long as he gets a fair contract. Most likely something similar to Duchene. The Sens feel like Stone and Duchene are perfect players to help lead and teach the young core into this new ERA.

This fires me up! Duchene and Stone have been nothing but money and prospects have been very impressive and have performed much better than anyone expected!

Other moves I would do:

1) Trade Boedker this or next trade deadline for picks;
2) Get rid of Condon for anything;
3) Not extend Wideman;
4) Sign some NCAA Prospects;
5) I'd give Ceci one more year to prove himself;
6) Realistically, Sens have never been a hot spot for big ticketed free agences.. So i doubt they'll sign anyone big.
7) In terms of the big 3 UFA's, I think Dzingle might be the odd man out...........

Also, if it came down to it. I'd package Brown and Ceci to get a top 4 Defence.
