I love that Dallas trade. Works for both teams. The Anaheim one isn't bad but I doubt Brassard would fit in unless he played on the wing.

the best player in the duck trade is manson but you want the ducks to add a pick? not to mention the ducks don't need another C let alone a 3rd line C.

the best player in the ducks trade is brassard easily. and Maatta has way more upside overall than manson. manson is only a physical one dimensional d man. that's not the reason i made this trade though. Both teams have a one of their best defensemen on IR. fowler obviously for the ducks and schultz for the penguins. Maatta is a top 4 LHD, Manson is a top 4 RHD , then just basically swapping brassard for cogliano. brassard is way better player and on a discount so therefore ducks give a pick to balance it

Manson will always be better than Maatta. he has better offensive skills than you guys give him credit for because you don't watch him. 37 5 on 5 points last season. Brassard has always been a 3C and hate to break it to you but a 3C isn't better than a top pairing RD.
