???? What?????. The probably impasse in the Nylander contract is the $$$$ amount. Willie is not a 8m player now, probably not a 7m player either. And you want to pay him 8m? I'm surprised that some sort of bridge can't worked out, since a long term can't worked out. But what is the justification in making a 20 goal scorer the 4th highest paid RWer?

Well because of stupid Chirelli giving 8.5 to Draistel. It screwed everything up. 8 is more then I'd pay him for sure. Money is definitely what's holding up the deal. They both said they want a long term deal done and Dubas said that a short term deal wouldn't be ideal. (Btw I totally miss Lou's everybody shut up rule) I'd pay him 6.5 personally but that's not how things are...
