Description
If the Leafs say fine you don't want to sign then fine you can watch this season of NHL from your couch.

I do think the Leafs add at the deadline and I'm thinking Tanev for future assets like a Rosen or Grundstrom and a draft pick.

Thanks for bringing back the slogan. It's more dramatic than" waive him and have report to the Marlies".
Looks like Sparks has failed his chance to be an NHLer at season's beginning with tonight's game.

I would say so... it does solve our issue with passing too many goalies through waivers lol.

5 stars.... load him into the cannon lol....

Just figured I would chime in on your explanation. It may be that we do need to go after someone but to be honest at this point it’s hard to say who. At the moment we have so many promising looking prospects. I would give up Adams, Rasanan, korshkov. Not all of them obviously but I think they are the prospects with the most trade value with the least value to the leafs. To get tanev retained which is something we would need, I would assume it would be a player a pick and a prospect. I don’t like the idea of grundstrom or Rosen going.

His entire preseason has been off. There's got to be an underlying thing there right?

There won't be anything happening till the deadline when the Leafs have a better grasp of what everyone is. I only mentioned Tanev cause he seems to be the perfect fit here but who knows. I'm just hoping they don't rush Lily this year. He's looked good but he's a kid making kid mistakes still. He needs a bit more time.

As for the trade chips I could live with Rosen leaving cause of the long list of guys that would just move up the depth chart like Borgman and Sandin. Grundstrom hurt more cause I really like what he brings and he looks NHL ready. I'll just say I'm glad we'd only have to face him twice.
