so we sit here all summer and listen to leafs fans drool all over dermott and you hide him in the AHL so you can keep a 37 year old 3rd string goalie?

Dmen don't sit in the press box for nothing. They are needed to practice with the team, to play when others are sick, injured, need a rest or maybe aren't playing the best.
I don't might Carrick sitting, cause that means there are six better players than him, Marincin over Dermot? No the Leafs aren't tanking.

I agree with palhal here. Dermott plays and carrick sits I hope. If carrick is on our team next year we are in rough shape or he somehow turns into a better hockey player.

My only response to that 1st part is: Josh Leivo, Frank Corrado.

I agree with most of that cause like I said Dermott is playing unless he COMPLETELY bombs in training camp and preseason.

What I don't agreen with is the slight against Carrick that we would be in rough shape if he's playing. Carrick is a good D guy especially a #6 but Babs doesn't trust him on special teams hence why I used Marincin is because we all know how Babs feels about MM. He's a great PK guy just horrendous WITH the puck. Lol MM can play a more a defensive game for Babs then Dermott (in this 7 D situation) and yes I know Dermott is better but like I said it's an idea.

Leafs are really hope Ozhignokov is NHL good. He's stout enough to take Polak's spot...if he's good enough. I like Borgman, he is a likely NHLer over Marincin. Whatever makes the roster I hope the "7th" guy gets some regular time. Nothing worse than a guy sitting for weeks, then an injury happens and then suddenly he has to be up to NHL speed.
