I could live with this. The signings are fair, but I don’t think Minny does that deal. I think perhaps Krecji to CAR beciase of their need for Centers, and then Backes to Minny.

Few issues here.
With the signings:
I think most are about fair. McAvoy probably gets more, but man you're pretty high on Donato huh? I feel like he would need a 25 goal 55 point season to get that kind of deal.

Now for the trades. Let's not forget that while Krejci and Backes do lose their NMC, they do have limited NTC protection, and I don't see Backes waiving for Carolina or Krejci waiving for Minnesota. You're also absolutely giving Grizz away. He's worth so so so much more than that.

Maybe things have changed since he said it, but Seguin did say he wouldn't go back to Boston. It was along time ago, but it's worth a thought.

carolina and Min. turn those trades down.
No one is gonna take on 35-36 year old Backes for you at 6 mil a year for 2 years.
They sign players to stupid contracts like that and you are stuck with them. The GM was an idiot to give players that old that much money for that long.

Min is also not giving you 26 year old Brodin for a 33 year old slowing down center with a 7+ mil cap hit. I won't even get into the cap dump of Krug.
If you want you have to give. You can't simply dump crap on people and think they are going to give you their good young players in their prime for your old worn down players on huge cap hits and players that frankly no one wants.
