Description
This is jut my take on what it would cost the Ducks. The only way they can resign him and have some flexibility for future years.

I really think that Kesler is going to miss the entire season. So the cap hit for Karlsson will not be a factor here. If kesler was to "hang it up" and sit on LTIR, there would be that space. But The Ducks have options to add Karlsson for 8 x $11 mil if they wanted to. But Perry would have to be bought out or traded (during 2019 draft) with eating half the cap. Or Eaves would have to call it a career if his comeback falls short.

I really think Steel gets a look on this team. Having Perry on his wing gets a little grit and it will keep some teams honest. But I think he will find his touch again. Steel is a great passer (from the video I have seen) and can hold his own with his speed.

The only person they would have to resign is Silfverberg. The cap numbers for next year already includes their extensions. But, they could just let Silf walk too, or include him in the trade versus Ritchie and Kossiila.
