if they were both 18-20 I would pick Crosby and malkin over him they are just so damn good but they are 30 not 21......age plays a factor and not a major one just enough to edge him over them

in the defense area is the guys I think are close to top 10 but they are in no particular order.....also I only added 5 bc I could do this all day

Homer but...no eichel even in the mentions? Easily take him over Staal especially if factoring in age. Also with age being a factor, then you should move any of the 1Cs under 25 to the top 10.

staal at his age in the last 2 seasons has out produced.......matthews eiche barkov and had 1 less point than Scheifele maybe don't blindly assume he's not putting up numbers bc of his age....and this is a list of who is the best center right now not 3 years from now....right now

im basing this off the last 2 seasons and who has produced the most with a solid mix of guys who sacrifice points with solid defensive play......matthews was #34 in points the last 2 seasons Barkov was #35

Scheifele would have been there but

1) im a caps fan so kuzy gets in over him
2) kuzy should have won the conn and they have similar numbers this mainly edged him over Scheifele

Esp Scheifele...prob around the 6 mark(he was ranked 7th but Matthews is not 4th)
