Hawks go full on Cubs here, signing players on 1 year deals....with the promise that if the Hawks aren't in contention they will be traded by the deadline so they have a chance to Win the Cup. Hawks trade them all for picks, then let the kids play the remainder of the season getting valuable experience....most start the season in Rockford. Teams these players are traded to isn't important, it can be anyone in contention....I do believe the value for each is good through, but I do bet some are the 2020 draft instead.

Trading Gus would be a mistake, dump Manning though the guy is nothing more then a 3rd pairing. No need for Ryan Sproul either with Forsling, Ian Mitchell, Beaudin all ready to play in the next year.
