Congrats on joining the armchair GM club! Now here’s my opinion

Definitely not unrealistic regarding the direction. I could see something like that happening.

Bozak is going to earn at least $4.5M on a 3 year contract. That’s just how UFA works hunny

Baertschi has been quite good for Vancouver and IMO deserves 4 years at $3.5M-$3.75M. All the other signings are pretty spot on. Although, you’re not bringing back Virtanen?

Carolina trade makes sense...I think. If Carolina is confident in Jake Bean, and want to do the deal while Quinn Hughes is no longer available at #7, I’d take the trade. But, Hughes being available could change that.

Edmonton trade, meh. I hate Eriksson more than any other player not named Marchand or Brown, and while Lucic is an upgrade, I don’t want to lose Kole Lind as a result. He seems to project to be a good player in the future and had a great last juniors year. Benning is trash IMHO, and a 3rd doesn’t trump Lind’s value. If Chiarelli wants to do Eriksson for Lucic straight up, sure, if not, screw it

You also gotta fix those lines, I ain’t having Suttsy and Guddy playing over my boys Leipsic, Gaudette and Stecher. Too much of a Benning and Willie thing to do Sticking Out Tongue

I gotta disagree on the Eriksson deal. I really only project Lind as a top 9 guy. Him getting a 3rd and Benning (who I feel is pretty solid) back, plus upgrading Eriksson for Lucic is good, considering Looch would offer a lot more production. The trade makes sense for both sides IMHO. The lines I would've edited more, but I thought I'd be better off having the lines similar to how GMJB and Greeny would slot them. Thanks for the feedback broski
