Right now our goal should be opening up space to resign Doughty, Kempe, Amadio and anyone else that’s expiring next season

I think Kovalchuk would be a really good fit for LA. They’ve always struggled with scoring. But MT_11 is right. Cap space won’t allow it. If they could dump Phaneuf then maybe it could work. But I don’t see that happening, considering they just traded for him and how hard his contract will be to move.
