Trade with MTL 2.0

I would love to get rid of Alzner but not at that cost.

It's a good looking team on paper, should be able to at least make some progress in the playoffs for a round or two. I wonder how many seasons Luongo has left in the tank. I'm curious, from your perspective as a Panthers fan what does Montreal realistically need to offer to make a trade for Borgstrom worth considering ?

Realistically, I have no idea. but it would have to be a lot. They are very high on him and is probably their best prospect. They in vision him being a top six forward in the next 2-3 years. This is just a guess but Patches and 2018 first round and third. I don't think he is worth it.....but that is how high everyone is on him even the fans. If Tallon were to trade him and he turned out to be a superstar they would want his head on a platter. Hope this helps.

So hard to project how good a young guy will be in 2-3 years against top NHL competition, its a big jump from NCAA or Junior. Also really hard to predict how a guy like Paccioretty does in a lower pressure situation, skating with real NHL centres. He may have several more 30 goal seasons in him. Or he may not. Thanks for the feedback, time will tell if anything happens. By the way the "head on a platter" thing is part of GM's job description. Bergevin is already standing close to the executioner with the axe in hand.
