You don't need Tavares - I really think that would be a mistake. It would make it really hard to sign the kids moving forward. For all intents and purposes, you have the 20 year old version of Tavares you should be more worried about locking up.

Trade Nylander for a Stud D - Johnsson and Kapanen will make up difference. See if you can get Hanafin, Pesce, or Slavin out for Carlolina along with Rask

Nylander, Sparks, 2nd for Rask and Hanfin? I don't know, maybe get them to eat Martin's contract too.

Let Lilligren take his time and trade Gardiner for some Offensive help if Johnsson/Kapanen/Marleau aren't producing.
