I think it's fair, it gives both teams what they need. Boston needs more defensive depth, and Edmonton based on this past season are still rebuilding and could really use a guy like Senyshyn.

This trade could be considered fair in terms of value, but I doubt Edmonton will want pieces like this for their young dman who they value highly. Peter Chiarelli wants to make them cup contenders as soon as possible

They aren't rebuilding....seriously? Keep in mind 3 of the teams still in the playoffs didn't make the playoffs last year. Granted, one of them didn't exist. However Tampa and Winnipeg are wagons and they missed the playoffs last year. Edmonton isn't making that trade, and what do they want in a guy like senyshyn?

I don't see why on earth Edmonton does that. A pick next year, likely to be a bottom 10 pick, a 2nd rounder, and a prospect, that frankly, at this point, looks like a bust. Why does edmonton do that? They would ask for Debrusk, or Heinen (plus), carlo, or maybe grizz, along with a first and a higher end prospect. Zboril maybe.
