Thank you for taking the time to pull together and publish a team. Your efforts are very much appreciated.

I have a few thoughts on your team:

1. In order for Nylander to sign an 8 year deal it would have to be a sign and trade with Toronto. I am assuming that Toronto signs him first before the trade;

2. I believe that Calgary is a hard pass on that trade. I would like them to say yes as I really like Hamilton & Bennett's game but a #2C and an up & down the line filler for a top pair Dman and emerging prospect is not enough to get the job done. Maybe adding McCabe and a pick will get er done;

3. Casey Nelson is not worth $2,000,000 a year for 5 years. If you are going to spend $10,000,000 on a UFA Dman sign Calvin De Haan for 3 years at $3,000,000 or sign Casey on a 1 year prove it deal $1,000,000;

4. Hmmmmm not sure about the Rieder deal at $3,000,000 but hey he offers what we do not have which is some speed so let's do it;

5. I like the NYI deal that would be a sweet haul fo the Sabres;
