Check their stats. . . . .forget their potential. . . . I'm offering 4 guys that not only can play on Arizona's roster right now, but fill holes and are upgrades over what they currently have! It's arguable that Strome and Domi are 4th liners, and maybe you can move Domi ahead of Johnsson, but down the middle, (behind Matthews, Kadri and Tavares) Strome has to prove he belongs! Both Strome and Domi have issues in Arizona, and maybe giving them a change of scenery could help!

Hi Doug, thanks for the wise cap management. Have to the agree with the guys above.....it's not enough for the Leafs to give up in the Zona trade. Hammer and Gardiner might be a wash, but Domi and Strome and worth more than Brown, 7th Dman an AHLer and meh pick.
But you have shown that Tavares at modest price, he is obtainable. And even if the defence remains Reilly, Gardiner, Dermot, Borgman, Zaitsev, Hainsey,Carrick...Holl and Oziganov. that might be good enough.

Side note. What were Zaitsev and Polak doing last night on those Bruins two goals, both two on one? Looks like they were demonstrating how NOT to play a two on one.
