    Not a chance Hawks trade their top 10 pick for a year of Patches (there's no way he resigns next year), especially if they're going to get a franchise offensive defenseman in Bouchard, especially given his size in comparision to Boqvist and Hughes

    i agree he should have traded Byron or Shaw for a late first pick (ryan reaves got a late first , so can MTL's number 2 goal scorer and shaw who was #3 until he got injured and finished tied for #8)

    then take that first with Pacioretty and trade it to CHI for their first and Jurco
    this way CHI just Swaps for a better winger and a lesser pick in a draft that's top 50 is stacked with D (the most since 2003 in the top 50 according to bob mckenzie )
    CHI can still draft a quality D while bolstering their offense . Calen Addison , Mattias Samuelson , Ryan Merkley or Jet Woo would all be solid pieces for CHI to develop
