I would like to have Patches, but the price tag is higher than Maroon's. If I could have a player from the Habs though, my first choice would be Gallagher. Do you think they would consider trading him? If so, what kind of package would you like to see in order to land Gallagher? If not, what kind of return do you expect for Patches?

Maroon is intriguing primarily for his ability to score bunches of goals when paired with world class centers. If you just want a physical fourth liner, I would offer Arizona a fifty dollar gift certificate to the restaurant of their choice for Zac Rinaldo, who is in the top 20 in the league in hits, and otherwise totally worthless.

You're definitely under cap because Vrana is waiver exempt and can spend a week in Hershey whenever it's necessary.

The reason I went for Maroon is his ability to play with top players, so starting out on the 4th would be ideal to me to get acclimated and to just start out playing a hard but simple game. As Maroon gets more comfortable on the team Trotz could potentially bump him up. Kind of like what they are doing with Kempny on the 3rd pair, but GMBM envisioning that he plays with Carlson eventually. I see your point though as Rinaldo is a cheaper option to fill a certain role. Although I think Rinaldo would change the dynamic of the 4th line that I would like to see (more physical). I think Maroon does the same but gives the team more scoring punch, and at the same time is just a better overall player.
