I like this as a Blues fan.
Would assume MTL wants a 1st a good prospect and other young players.
Fabbri replaces a 1st as he is NHL ready but a risk with injuries. Less of a risk than a low 1st round pick IMO.

And it will help MTL long run as well... make the 2nd round pick protected in Pacc resign with STL I believe it will make more sens to protect this trade that way.
Still think it's a bit too much for Pacc...

This trade all depends on how Fabbri returns from recovery. If he comes back and plays to his full potential, I'd hate to see what he could develop into with the Habs. If he's a shell of his former self, then it's unfortunate of what could have been. He's has incredible talent but was plagued to two horrible injuries. Otherwise, this trade looks good on both ends.
