4M for Skinner is probably too much. And I can't imagine he doesn't sign with a non-playoff team. The guy is literally 32 and has never played a single playoff game. Expect him to go to like Florida, Vegas, or Colorado

It’s probably a slight overpay. I think it would have to be to get him to sign with a bubble team rather than one of the teams you mentioned. I think you can make a solid pitch to him playing on a line with Larkin and Raymond.

I think you can make a solid pitch for a lot of players for that but definitely not Skinner. IMO the odds he signs with a bubble team are virtually zero

We’ll see. It certainly could be that he only wants to sign with a top contender. But as of now, it’s just the internet assuming that because he’s never played in a playoff game. Nobody knows his priorities right now. Kane signed with Detroit because of the light travel schedule and Debrincat. Players don’t always have the priorities everyday fans think they should. He could very well want to stay close to home. If that’s the case, Detroit is the closest thing unless he signs with Toronto.
