The leafs don't want a couple bottom 6ers and a backup goalie for a player of marners caliber

I love the Leafs and definitely don't know what this guy is talking about. Leafs, treliving, and all of toronto would love mcbains game. He would be an awesome 3c.

That said I do think the goalie is bad, when we can sign Winnipeg's backup for the same price. Hayton is a negative asset or at best a flier. I think substance is needed there like Smaltz, Crouse, durzi. If not those 3 it needs to be a much better what if than Hayton. Like Guenther, Doan, larremoux.

As a Leafs fan I'd love to see Mav, McBain, and Guenther without the picks but I think Utah (along with Seattle) is one of the few teams that has the flexibility to move pieces around

I like the players I was just talking value wise
