Any idea what pesce is looking for next season?

I think this is reasonable if they do another bridge. Maybe 2 years instead of 3, but he has only had 1 season that really showed a value above that number. I don't think Carolina is willing to pay him what it'd require to do a long term deal. This is a classic situation where Necas will probably be dissapointed in the offers out on the market, so signing a short term bridge may be in his best interest. I think in a couple of years the Canes may be OK with letting him walk based on other pieces that come into the fold (Nadeau/Blake)

Oh for sure, those trade deets where more just saying "hey they probably trade KK" not necessarily detailing where or for what.
