The point is the Leafs are now currently $9 million under the cap with no help coming.

The LTIR cheat VGK uses seems to always occur before the TDL rather than after, like the Leafs situation.

And yea I know Marner will be back before season ends, but VGKs LTIR players have always been "ready" to play but purposely left on LTIR until the seasons over.
