Description
Priority list:

Trade or sign a top 4 RHD - Didn't happen at the TDL but the cap increase should provide more flexibility to get a substantial trade done.
Re-sign UFAs - Domi and Lyubushkin should be July 1st or before July 1st signings. Don't bring back Bertuzzi, Samsonov, Klingberg (lol) or Brodie.
Trade or sign a middle six C - Tavares is losing his footspeed fast and going to need to be moved to the wing sooner rather than later.
Re-sign RFAs - Benoit, Robertson, Liljegren, Dewar. Rest can be left unqualified.
Trade away - Kampf, Timmins. Lowest priority should be getting rid of players who aren't worth the cap hit.

To much for Boosh. Look what Bogo got that should be the price for him rn.

Domi at that price NTU. Either a long term 3m range deal or have fun

Roy will get more in FA there are not a lot of good RD out there besides him and Pesce.

Dewar will probs get more, Robertson and Benoit less

And Kampf is sticking around. They will probs get him better linemates next season

Islanders have 6 players who can play center on the roster at the moment. No use for Kampf or another center

I think 2 million is fine for Lyubushkin. He's significantly younger than Bogosian and can actually play top four minutes on Toronto. Also he's a right shot which I'm told is worth a million alone.

I don't entirely disagree on Domi being a lot of 4 million, but again, I believe this is the realistic ask for him. Anything under 4 is great.

Regarding Roy, other RHD on the market are: Montour, Tanev, Walker, Pesce, Carrier, DeMelo. 6 million is the most I'd offer any of those guys. The other option, as I mentioned, would be a trade but it might need to be done before the draft if the 2024 1st would be in play. Regardless of what happens, filling the position should be priority number one.

Dewer, Robertson and Benoit aren't going to be much more or less than what I put down. maybe a 500k difference at most. The key for me would be getting Robertson and Benoit at two years.

Getting rid of Kampf freed up a lot of space on the roster to make depth moves, if you can trade him, you have to do it. He's a fourth line centre and hasn't been worth his contract. I don't think better linemates fixes the problem for a 4C guy, unless you want to get Engvall and Mikheyev back.

But at the same time that guy CGY also just traded for signed 1.25m and hes the same age as Lybushkin and has been playing similar minutes

Roy u would probs get him 6 x 6 as would be surprised if anyone gave 7m. He and Pesce would probs be the most expensive. Everyone else should be 4m but would skip on Carrier. To small for playoff hockey. 174 pounds and 5'10 dont look good when u got TBL, BOS, FLA in your division

Kampf in general has been better as of late especially when hes been with Holmberg

27 forward duos have played 100+ minutes together for the leafs this season

holmberg-kampf have controlled

66% of the goals, 4th best
61% of the xG, 3rd best

they've started 36% of their shifts in the offensive zone

If u can find them a RW whose more offensive orientated and who has a good finish u could make an interesting 4th line. Sprong could be a very tempting target
