As a pointed, the Weber for Marner can't happen for cap reasons. But this always seem to the theme....teams trade there overpaid players to the Leafs. Weber has won a total of three playoffs rounds in his career. Hardly a guarantee of the Leafs hoisting the Cup. Morale of the story, big cap doesn't mean big success.

Weber is better than people give him credit for i think at least . Maybe the new rules on cross-checking is putting him out of the top 10-15 . Weber against Marner make no sense in term of value (i like marner a lot) but against 2 first , matt martin , lupul ending contract and lilgren i think its fair value for a cup run from rival ressources .
