Not a chance they claim Johansen. Maybe if PHI wants to retain they can trade a low pick/prospect. 4mil next year is too risky considering how bad he was on that great COL team.

Because if he doesn't get claimed, that's ~3.2mil against the cap under the "buried" penalty.

It is 2.8, but yeah... Anyways he is a very experienced and has been an excellent player... Just needs the tools and motivation to get his game back... Winning a cup can be that motivation

I think winning the cup was on his mind while he was playing for the Avalanche as well.
