Sundqvist goes to any of the east teams for a 3rd or 4th. If Yzerman is involved it’ll be a 4th cause he’s Doug Armstrong’s dad. It won’t even be Detroit’s 4th, it’ll be Dallas’. So congrats on your “basically a 5th round pick” Doug.

Picked the wings due to history between gms, but it really doesn’t matter.

Perhaps Scandella is the best Tampa can do with no assets. Nobody is doing them a favor.

Agree.

He’s probably a depth forward for most contenders. I’m a huge fan of sunny, but his playstyle has worn at him.

Imma guess he’s mostly injury insurance: plays 10-12 min a night on a contender, can even be the scratch when the roster is full, but available in case something occurs, fills in. Usually you can’t trust your healthy scratch on the 3rd line.

One block he checks is playoff experience, winning mindset kinda guy. Seems like something you’d want for the first foray into playoffs in awhile, and the cost is negligible.

Can’t see Sunny being moved, at least not for a 4th. The Scandella trade is fair and I think that’s the only move STL will make. If Lyubushkin can get a third so can Scandella, he’s better than Ilya.
