Gotta pray Woll doesn’t miss significant time or there G situation looks bleak. Think they’ll add a cheap vet that can spot start if needed. Also wouldn’t trust having that much youth in the bottom 6. Personally don’t think either Minten or Cowan will make the team for at least a couple years.

Leafs survived fine getting Martin Jones games and the worst goaltending in the league in samsonov for a few months. Minten deserved to make the team this year.

Don't understand Leafs fans fetish for almost 30 year old Pesce on a seven year contract.
There no reason to think Minten is NHL ready in October.

Benoit and his zero offence does not get more. Liljegren only gets more if a longer deal. Wouldn't shock me if gets less for 1 year so tavares deal over before big extension.

Jones and Samsonov at least have NHL experience though, they’re not great but better than throwing Hildeby to the wolves. Minten did not deserve to make the team, or he would’ve. He’s okay and will likely make it in a couple years but again, prospects need time and rushing them to the NHL is a disservice to them and the team. Not many make the leap from JR to NHL for a reason, it’s a huge jump.
