Not trading Vaakanainen who is finally arriving

The Rangers didn't want to give Pajuniemi or Vaisanen a contract, so why should we?

RhD is a position of weakness for the Ducks, so we won't be trading one for another. And as my esteemed friend @GeneralLandro says, Urho is just now coming into his own.

Sharks decline. They're not trading Zetterlund unless it's a significant overpay. I'm not too familiar with Korczak but The Athletic ranked him as the 12th best prospect in the Rangers' pool and said he'd probably be a good AHLer eventually which could give him a chance at the NHL but it's a long shot. The Rangers' 2025 1st is probably going to be late enough that the hope will be eventually it could be on par with Zetterlund's current production. Zetterlund's young enough that he should still be around when the Sharks are looking to start pushing towards the playoffs again.

Not sure I see a reason for NSH to say no to that deal. Seems really fair.
