I’d be interested tofolli but I want a RHD first

Assuming NJD decides to eat the cap overages next year something like:

NJD gives:
50% retained toffoli
50% retention on Tanev

NJD gets:
1st, 2nd, Brodie

Calgary gets:
2nd
Calgary gives:
Unretained Tanev

Toronto gets
50% retained Toffoli and Brodie
Toronto gives
1st, 2nd, 2nd, Brodie

Trade is very okay to me, but Toronto dosent have any seconds, would have to be firsts with picks going back to Toronto, and then it gets really confusing or they just won’t need retention on tofolli because Brodie will be traded

Yeah would get weird in that case. Idk what prospects or other assets NJD/calgary would want.

I feel like Minten and Cowan are off the table, and the lower level of prospects don’t reach a 2nd in value imo.

In terms of approximating value:

Toronto sends out 1st 1st Brodie
Gets back toffoli tanev 3rd

NJD sends out toffoli, retains on tanev, 2nd, 3rd
Gets back 2 1sts+brodie

Calgary gets 2nd

Or maybe Calgary gets the 1st and sends the 2nd who knows
