That's not what Friedman said about Kaliyev. He said that if the Kings could fill Kaliyev's roster spot with a gritty forward, then Kaliyev would be expendable and could be moved for whatever return. He did not say that the Kings were going to trade Kaliyev for a gritty forward. The Kings arguably have those players in the system already. Akil Thomas is probably next man up from the AHL. After that, they could bring up Taylor Ward or Sam Helenius.
I don't see the Kings having interest in either Acciari or Nedeljkovic. The former is too expensive, and there are better rental options available than the latter (my choices would be Lindgren from Washington or Lankinen from Nashville).
