Flames fans, please, stop sending us Vladar and Hanifin...

1) Hanifin, and this was made widely known, was the runner-up target if Dubas couldn't land Karlsson. Our top-four is locked, ready and killing it. We're all good there. The most we may target is a depth guy, but even that is unlikely at this point unless a rash of injuries happen.

2) Our goaltending is good. We don't need Vladar. This is not a troll, and Flames like to pump is tires, but he's performed as a below average backup. If Ned gets injured long-term, could it be possible we'd target someone like him? Maybe, but you're not going to a 2nd+ for a guy like him.

3) The only Flames' player that makes real sense from the Pens' side is Dube. He'd be a solid fit in the bottom-six if a roster spot and cap space open up. This move would be tricky even with 50% retention, but may be workable.
