Since the 1-3-1 start, they've been 7-1-1. No player is at a point per game with Ovi leading the way with 11 points. They are winning even. though Ovi hasn't been finding the back of the net often, Oshie only has 1 assist, Kuemper's numbers have not been good, and only 3 forwards have 8+ points. Dylan Strome does have 7 goals and the young guys look better, but Milano only has 5 points in 13 games and Philips only has 4 points in 14 games. McMichael does have 7 points in 14 games. Charlie Lindgren has been great. Once the veterans start to get going (Ovi's bound to score more goals, Oshie can't be stuck on 1 assist forever). In a Metro where the Canes look human, the Devils are dealing with injuries and can't keep the puck out of the net, the Islanders can't play in the 3rd, the Pens having to recover from a 3-6 start, the Caps could make their way in the Top 3 of the Metro. The rest of November is favourable. They play Columbus, Buffalo, and Edmonton at home, and go on the Cali road trip. All 6 games are winnable (LA sucks at home). I had them missing the playoffs, but with the Metro being weaker, I think playoffs are a possibility.
