Calling Wahlstrom a "valuable RFA" is very generous at this point

Am I incorrect that the Islanders will likely need to make some decisions on trading salary (Pageau?) or rescinding RFA’s to complete the roster with minimum salary players

This trade adds Nylander on top of that. I don’t believe you are in a position to add a $10m + player with only Wahlstrom going out.

I agree about the salary stuff but I'm not talking about that, I'm just saying that Wahlstrom really has no value because he hasn't done anything at the NHL level so calling him a valuable RFA is a huuuuuuuge stretch
