Just a thought experiment

NSH gets a strong, young, center with top 6 potential and a strong scoring touch for the future which NSH desperately needs, and it helps bolster their current abysmal center depth. With coaching from Burnette and additional mentorship from O'Reilly, it could help unlock more in Pinto's game

OTT gets to add a high offense upside player in Novak who can be a center or could play on the left-side. Novak scored nearly a PPG last year on a NSH team with a dreadful offense. Playing alongside players who can help enable that like Norris and Tarasenko will only make that number go up.

An interesting thought however this seems like a bandaid solution for Ottawa as Novak would likely need a significant raise next year which would put them in the exact same position that they find themselves in with Pinto right now
