Nylander

I doubt there is as much interest in Nylander from NSH as this rumor has implied. The issue with Nylander is that even with an extension, it doesn't really help NSH's compete window. He would help NSH now, but Nylander isn't going to elevate this team to a cup. NSH is looking at a soft rebuild and really competing in the next 2-3 years. Trotz is already on record saying that the team is likely taking a step back this year, and adding Nylander contradicts that.

Personal interest aside as I think Nylander would be fun, I can't see a way where it makes sense for NSH right now.

The only Nylander and Nashville rumors ive seen are based on the fact that Nashville has the capspace and assets that toronto might want. All based on wishful thinking.
