Flyers easily decline

Why do they “easily” decline? They’re getting a substantial upgrade from Konecny.

The only reason I see them declining is because if they’re in rebuild mode then the 1st is more important to them compared to Nylander, unless they decide to flip Nylander and get much more in return

They can't flip Nylander for a much bigger return because this trade would set his price. His stats also won't be nearly as good on a rebuilder, so his trade deadline value is likely to decrease.

Flyers would decline since Danny Briere has made it clear that he does not see the Flyers pushing for any big name fish at the start of the rebuild.

Flyers are rebuilding. They want picks and prospects, not a guy that they have to pay big in a year and will be 30+ by the time the rebuild is over in 3 or 4 years.

You literally just said why they are declining lol. Why would the decline? Proceeds to say exactly why they would decline. They are rebuilding and probably set for a top 5 pick this year, why would they ruin that ?
