Arvidsson and Murray buyout

We aren’t going to want to have his 2 million cap hit next season for a buyout. We would likely bury him in the AHL in case he comes back around or Kochetkov struggles

Arvidsson is fine. Soucy, ok i guess. We will need a better 3C. Let fast go to FA. Use drury on the 4th line. Let stas walk

Could just move Staal up to the third line and Drury down to the fourth. LA will have cap issues and we could get him for cheap, De Haan and Stast are place fillers, could be anyone. Not sure who else for 3LD, could be Ghost dependent on cap hit

Despite the mob thought that Murray is the worst goalie ever, he's not bad. He just has been so unlucky with injuries. If it costs a 1st to move him, I just wouldn't do it. Keep him and move out Samsonov. Woll/Murray worries me less than Murray/Samsonov did at the beginning of this season.

Running it back with Staal on the 3rd is more of the same.
We need another center that can give us 45+ point production.

It’s not that he’s awful. His contract is what’s awful and the Leafs need cap space and that clears a lot. Other teams may be willing to take it but I think if the canes have room to take it (which they do) they will go after it
