Yeah well according to TSN Hellebuyck wants to be the highest paid goaltender in the NHL, Price who was injured got 8 x $10.5m around the same age as Hellebuyck so don't be so sure he's already the better goalie over Carey Price. 8 years takes him to 39 i can easily see him at least 7 years 63 million.

7x63 is still reasonable. Teams probably are willing to up the aav to bring it down to 5/6 years tho. I'd say 5x10 or 6x9.5 is more likely. But just my opinion. And yes, its well known helly wants to be one of the highest paid. Anything above 9M makes him that with only Bobrovsky and vasilevsky making more. Also, when price signed that contract, he was renown as the best goalie in the league. Right now, helly is top 3. I expect him to get paid, just not over 10 M

That Schiefele contract would age terribly
