COACHES:
-fire assistant coaches. special teams miscues in back 2 back seasons is embarrassing.

-dean is on the hot seat to start the season.

OFFSEASON:
-goligoski is first cap dump. Was reported there was 1 team interested in him this past deadline. Hopefully he waives and a team takes him on for FC.

-keep addison. only move him for a first. I think a 1 year deal can be fair for both sides. Comparing his situation to Brannstrom in OTT.

-duhaime keeps fourth line role for two years. Hopefully he can take another step forward next year. He has some game but didn't show up in playoffs like most guys.

-reaves or high energy guy needs to be playing for the minimum. give reaves the second year, an NMC, and performance bonuses.

-sign a big/mean defensemen that can play both sides for the minimum. Here I go Beaulieu. Could be anyone.

-shaw is signed and LTIRed/AHLed.

-give beckman/rossi/walker a shot for the third line in camp.

I think this will turn out to be pretty accurate. Addison is obviously the one major question mark here. Just can't see them playing him in the top 4 and I don't think they want to force that upon Faber just yet. I do think Faber ends up playing a lot of top 4 anyway, but I can't see them having Addison as being the main safety valve available to plug in if Faber needs a breather on 3rd pair.

I guess maybe your contingency plan is to have like a Beaulieu type slotted with Faber on 3rd pair and a Brodin-Merrill/Goose 2nd pair, but that's rough.

Im betting that Addison will have his best summer staying in Minnesota. We need him and especially at this cap hit. And I think Merill/Faber/Addison as the third pair will do fine. Would rather have Addy play with Brodin than Merill. And than yeah a Beaulieu type as the 6-7 defensemen. And at the deadline acquire another top 4 D if in the playoff race.
