If this was the real off-season I think Dubas would be fired and re-hired then fired again just because this is such a bad outcome

Not a maple leafs fan, but, it looks like they have a tricky off season. Does Dubas gets fired if they don't get of the first round, let alone win the cup?

There is a chance. Only if the Leafs don't make it out the first round tho and even if they don't, it is still a very low chance. I can tell you that Murray is either getting traded or getting bought out. Also they are not re-signing Gus Bus especially not for that much instead they are re-signing Bunting, Acciari and Schenn with the extra money.

Lilly isn't getting traded. Sammy gets more. Gus wouldn't be offered half that from the leafs and is trash defensively, don't need 2 d-men like that. Acciari gets resigned.
