Yeah, too much for Henrique. He just doesn't play a lot of center these days and this would only be a rental so he isn't what the Avs are looking for.

Sorry but that ship has sailed in my book. I don't think that Rico would have netted the '23 1st at the TDL, more likely the '24 1st so I can't see him netting any more than a 2nd now.

I think this is a very realistic look at the offseason and pretty close to what I think we will see the lineup looking like next season. Its anyone's guess what happens with Rico or whether hes dealt at the deadline instead. I would prefer a stronger UFA at RD, but with so few on the market, and the Ducks not exactly being the top option for UFAs this year, we may need to set our expectations a shade lower. I hope Verbeek makes moves on D, but honestly would not be upset with the forward core above. Unless we can somehow get a top line winger, I think its best to just the young guys fill the roster. We do not need anymore middle to bottom 6 guys.
