Add 1 forward not currently in the top 50 forwards in points per game
Add 1 defensemen not currently in the top 10 forwards in points per game

Does that team make the playoffs? Yes, considering how long they were in the playoff race.
Does that team make it to the finals? I don't think so.
Does that team win the cup?


For forwards the wings need a finisher and a legit top 6 center. So I added Robert Thomas for my below 50 pick and Kyle Connor for my below 25 pick. I thought about Roope Hintz for a center with my below 25 pick, but opted for Connor. With my below 50 pick Eichel seemed like the obvious pick but I am not a fan. I was torn between PLD, Barzal, and Thomas, but PLD is a bit of a basket case and Thomas I think is a better 200 ft player than Barzal I think.

For D the wings need a top 4 RHD, when I started this yesterday McAvoy was 16th and when I came back to finish it today he jumped up to 12 so I changed it. Ekblad and Carlsson both interested me, but Carlsson is getting old and injury prone and Ekblad is having a bad year plus has a big contract, so I went with Andersson who is having a career year despite the team struggling. He also has a team friendly AAV for 4 years. Some very good LHD options there but need help on the right.
